To create a blank script ready to write...

Start by clicking on the New Script button on the dashboard page:

That will being up the Create New Script popup box, where you enter various info about the script you are writing:

The key is to leave the script file box as is...empty:

So, what information is required, even for brand new scripts?

• Script Type (i.e. Feature, 1 HR TV, etc)
• Script Title
• At least One Genre
• Everything else (tags, poster, logline) is optional and can be entered at a later time.

When you have entered the info relating to your new screenplay, scroll to the bottom of the popup box and click on the Create Script button:

As with script uploads (where you chose an FDX or PDF script), you will be taken to the script's summary page, and when you return to the Dashboard page, it will show up in your Screenplays listing.
