Screenplays are a core building block at Script 360

Scripts are just that: the screenplay itself. That includes the title, logline, poster image, genre or genres, any additional tags you select, and the script itself. Note that scripts can also have attachments, from files to media - so you can have all the collateral material relating to the script together in one place.

Various Drafts of the Screenplay

If you create multiple drafts of your script (which requires a Basic or Pro membership), they are all stored together in the script, so no need to make a bunch of copies of the same script to maintain different versions - you make new drafts right in the script editor and can switch back and forth between them with ease. Refer to the Editor Tutorial for much more on everything script-related.

Note that scripts can be unassigned or assigned to a Folder. If assigned, when you open the folder you will see the script listed there, along with any collateral material and attachments you want to add.

Editing versus Reading

At Script 360, we separate the copy of your script that you are working on from the version others can read (when invited!). It is completely up to you if and when you Publish a readable copy, and also up to you who you invite to read (or edit) your scripts.

For now, just note the Edit Script and Read Script buttons in the top-right corner of the script summary page. Edit script takes you to your working copy, and the Read Script will bring up the published version of the script, if there is one.
